The project is located in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, 5 minutes from Downtown. Located just off Sunset Blvd, the hillside site has panoramic views of the downtown skyline.  The four story buildings maximize connection to the views and provide an open Living/Dining/Kitchen space, as well as a secondary living area on the roof deck (the garage/entry level was not built for IBS -  so the first floor is actually the second floor). The wide, open living space was created by putting two modules side-by-side. The open riser stair is site fabricated and built from steel and glum lams for the treads. On site, the rooftop trellis will have a PV array (solar panels) that acts as a shade structure, and generate about half of the buildings electric demand. The exterior metal screen is powder coated perforated metal.
